from Budapest to Kecskemét
The renewal of train line no.142 includes not only the rail infrastructure, but the modernization of adjoining train stations, open spaces and intersections.
We aim to optimize transport capacities, cut down on travel time between Budapest and county capital Kecskemét by almost half with engineering and spatial measurements including the relocation of entire stations, and the installation of new ones. All stations are upgraded with P+R, B+R and accessibility facilities, special attention is given to the densely populated areas where an elevated structure is introduced to lift the fragmenting effect of railway no. 142.
