Development of transport networks between districts xiii and xiv, budapest

Providing a connection between the 13rd and 14th Districts of Budapest has been on agenda for many years. The project’s mission is to lift the fragmenting effect of railway lines no. 70&71 along with preparing the surrounding infrastructural network to allow and enable a better distribution of traffic between the affected neighbourhoods, including traditional and alternative means of transport, as well as creating more efficient transfer options.

A new tram line is introduced along with an extensive upgrade to the cycle network of the area. The project also covers the improvement of open spaces of junctions in the project area.
